Berlin-based ViGo Bioenergy announced on July 1 the opening of three bio-LNG stations in Germany. The stations are located in Alsfeld, Hirschberg, and Osterfeld. The Alsfeld and Hirschberg stations opened on July 1, while the Osterfeld station will open on July 3.

Christian Schneider, managing director of ViGo Bioenergy, said, "We are very proud to have so successfully implemented our founding idea of a Germany-wide, comprehensive network of LNG filling stations. Not least through the substitution with bio-LNG, we and our filling customers are making a real contribution to making the transport sector cheaper."

ViGo Bioenergy is one of Germany's largest bio-LNG filling station providers. Its biogas is produced exclusively from liquid manure and other residual materials.
